Pokerstars first started working with LDA in 2004.
Their initial requirement was for Pull-up banner stands and PVC banners for a poker tournament in Dublin.
Since then we have branded hotels and casinos in Uruguay, Costa Rica, Monte Carlo, Brazil and most European capitals for Pokerstars.
Initially Pokerstars asked LDA to carry out surveys of the main European casinos and to make recommendations based on short install times and budget requirements.
Having carried out the surveys we produced 3D CAD drawings showing how the branding would look in situ. Once the venue concepts were approved LDA created the artwork and then produced the final graphics. The whole process took less than 10 days. The Pokerstars casino display inventory currently includes Pull-up banner stands, Pop-up displays stands, lightboxes, Gobo projectors, a complete modular exhibition stand, twist banner stands and numerous large scale fabric banners. We have also covered a front window 10m high x 6m wide with a large self-adhesive banner, installed over a four hour period at midnight in central London using a very large cherry picker.
For the European Poker Tour Pokerstars requested that LDA design and create a large 4m wide x 2.4m high double-sided illuminated lightbox, along with a bespoke 4m wide counter. For this we used the Linx modular display profiles, incorporated perspex routed spade logos, foamex infill panels for the counter and printed fabric banners for the illuminated lightbox. Once produced we delivered the display to the client and carried out a pre-build to ensure that their in-house install team could familiarise themselves with the display. It is currently travelling around Europe on the European Pokerstars Tour.
